POLICIES

At our Hair Salon, we thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service we can offer. That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys their Mae Studio 82 experience. They’re not rules, they’re just some general things to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible.

For all clients that a receive a service there is a Sustainable Fee of $3 which goes Directly to Sustainable Salons Australia.

All clients at Mae Studio 82 receive a 1 week cooling off period with their service, this means we will do our best to satisfy you with your results to the fullest of our ability.

If you are making your very first booking with us WELCOME! We do require you to place a deposit just to can secure your spot with us, this will be deducted on the day of your service. All appointments receive a confirmation message 5 days prior to your appointment if you fail to let us know that you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment or are a no show on the day of booking this deposit will not be refundable. If the correct notice is given you will be able to be refunded or credited to your next appointment.

Deposit amounts;

Hair cut $40

Colour services within 4 hours $100

Services that exceed the 4 hour time frame is 30% of your session booked

Cancellation Policy

All appointments receive a confirmation message which have to be responded to.  

In the event we do not receive a response we will try to contact you 72hrs prior to your appointment, if we are unable to get a response your appointment will automatically be cancelled.
If a deposit has been made you will also forfeit your deposit cancelling within the 72hr timeframe. 

We require all clients needing to reschedule or cancel their appointments to give us a minimum of 72hrs notice to confirm/cancel your upcoming appointment. If you cancel within the 72hr period we will try our best to fill your spot in with another client, if we are unable to fill your appointment we require 50% fee of your service to be paid.

No show clients and clients cancelling within 4hrs of their appointment will be charged a 100% of their service. As this allows very little to no time to fill your appointment. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU'RE SICK? 
Please notify us right away as we do not want to put anyone in our salon at risk of getting sick. If you show up to your appointment sick we have to right refuse service and it will unfortunately will be treated as a no show fee. We have immunocompromised clients in our space to be mindful of and also for the wellness of our team. If it is within the 72hr timeframe you will be charged a late cancellation fee if we are unable to fill your appointment.

 

These fees are not fun for us but it something we have to implement to make sure we can keep our Salon running smoothly and not leaving us stressed and with empty chairs.
 

We try our best to avoid these circumstances so we appreciate your understanding.
